| I dunno, I know people (including myself) who had a pretty rough viral infect recently, how the hell should I know if that was the swine flu, oder something else ? (I'm immunized for the regular flu this year)
I didn't go to a doctor and even if, the health insurance companies don't pay for the lab test for swine flu... (at least in germany, I don't know about the other countries) The numbers they exclaim in the news are not real numbers but approximations of what they think might be true based on the few tests they actually do on severly ill and dead people. So it doesn't really reflect the real situation... Taking into account that the swineflu is said to be more harmless than the regular few, it doesn't matter anyway (which is why the health insurance companies don't pay D )

| A friend of mine HAD it a few weeks ago..
I myself am ill too at the moment, but that's a normal flu -- at least I (and my doctor) think so. Like TheNameless said, how the hell should I know if it's swine flu or not. It doesn't feel worse than the normal flu, so whatever. 
In Germany 10.000 people die of the NORMAL flu every year. The swine flu has killed, like, 20 people up to now -- and those were weakened anyway. So what's the big deal about swine flu? Oh yeah right, the pharma industries make money with it. 
By the way, about the vaccine: When I was at the doctor's today I heard two women talk about the vaccine in the waiting room... They said, in a nearby town here there were two women who were vaccinated and are paraplegic now. Wellllll fuck you pharma industries, I won't be your guinea pig. | |
