Description:
Here is the english version of my previous short story "Wünsche" .
slightly altered.
I was really depressed at the time I originally wrote it,
but I still hope you like it. |
 He had never been this happy.
It was, without a doubt, the happiest moment of his entire life.
Every other second had been just the pile of junk this moment was built on.
His whole life was the digusting waste of the wealth and life of others.
But now everything seemed different. He was relieved.
Finally he had freed himself from this hell.
Back at the old days he used to have many wishes.
Wishes which never could have been satisfied. Those were dreams.
And dreams are dreams because they remain dreams and never come true.
But now he got what he always wished for. He just didn't know it before.
He had finally found a sense in everything.
He wrote it down. Not on a simple sheet of paper, but he tattooed it in huge letters
onto his soul. At that moment he truly felt happiness for the first time in his life.
The note lay down on the floor when his mother entered the room.
The strong wind was blowing it around because the window was opened.
She caught the piece of paper and read from his soul:
"You can only live a happy life, if you can fulfill your greatest desire.
Finally I am happy, for I got to know my wish.
The wish for death."
Soon there were two corpses lying in front of the high building.
The first one had a terrified and distorted look on its face.
The other one a smile. |
