Universal Studio's Academy Award winning Pillow Talk, the first of three Doris Day and Rock Hudson films, debuts in Hollywood. The film is critically praised for its 'adult' humor and clever use of CinemaScope's widescreen format. Doris Day will later remember it for being confused by Rock constantly asking to 'suck her cock' during the bedroom scenes - an anomaly that won't be cleared up until the 1980's.
