Good evening again, outstanding sadists of this insignificant comunity (or viceversa, naturally). Tonight I, LordAsriel, will be your informer. As such, I'll inform you about PHQ changes during the last few months. Right...
New PvP System
The waited PvP system to replace the old one has come. After some months of peace between players a weapon has returned. Now, it's in no ways similar to the previous one. It consists in sending bombs with creatures (up to 20 of only one kind) attached. Each bomb has its own defuse code of four symbols settled by the attacker. Having to choose from six symbols there are 1296 possible combinations. The bomb will explode two days from sent if it isn't defused before. Now, the deffender has twelve defuse tries. After each try he or she will be informed of the amount of symbols s/he has guessed in their correct position, the amount s/he has placed in wrong positions, and the amount of the ones that just aren't present in the correct combination. If logic is well applied one defuses the bomb after a small number of tries. Also, you can defuse bombs directed to other members of your own team and you can't be attacked by more than one bomb at a time.
As you can see, it's very different from the old system where you could just send the creatures to your opponent, sit down and enjoy the massacre. The current official poll discuss this system.
PHQ Donation Drive
PHQ needs more players. Twice already our leader muddasheep has payed for an ad at www.dominic-deegan.com (excellent web comic by the way). A donation was put up in order to pay for a third ad. The money was gathered, but then doubts about the current state of PHQ aroused. Many things were discussed, and many others were surely in ms's head. Fortunately a light must have shined somewhere, because the ad is scheduled for today and the corresponding week.
Draversi Tournament
Right as I speak, 16 sadists are playing draversi in order to win the wanted prize: random drawings from MS, and a CD with high quality Remains, not to mention a King (or Queen) badge for the winner's profile. These sadists are: All, Ally, ArseTroll, CellarDoor, Funnycreature, H4ndy, Khimitsu, Kowi, Loony99, LordAsriel (myself), Psychomessiahs, Scaleskin, Spam, Steltie, TheNameless and Vampire1402.
