Howdy, as you might already know I will be away for a week. I haven't been actively developing for PHQ recently mainly because I've let myself getting distracted by other things and I met a lot of friends and relatives. The thing is, there will be a bigger development break from PHQ starting around February 2007. Until then I plan to implement the new PvP system. If you haven't read the farm news, I'll try to explain my situation again. I'm a slave to my own creativity and I need to create stuff or else my head explodes. I've been working on PHQ for a bit more than four years now, roughly 1500 hours in total (not much for four years, I guess, but meh). There are other projects of mine that need my attention now and I'll give it to them. This is not the end of PHQ development in total, because I won't lie to myself. I know that one time I will be back with a full bag of ideas (maybe even sooner than I'd think) and new flaws and bugs for you to discover, so you can look forward to that. But it won't happen in the near future. Anyway. There are only 78 christmas bags so far, so if you can just stretch all of your generosity a little bit more we might have more than just one bag for each active player.  If not, oh well, I suppose that's why it's called Fucking Sadistic Christmas Calendar. Again, on December 25th everybody will be able to pick up 10 bags (I've already reduced it from 30).
As for the Donation Drive, I've received 65 Euro in total, which is roughly 85 USD, so we need 15 USD more (~12 Euro). I'll hopefully be able to make a list in one or two weeks that will display all the donators directly on the startpage, including a link they want to be shown in the list (or a random comment or an image, whatever they prefer), so if you're one of those donators be sure to drop me a line what you'd like to see in that list next to your name (or if you don't want your name to be displayed at all). But all in all I'd like to thank all of the donators so far, you surprised me and gave me a lot of hope back. I owe you one.
Coming back to the actual topic of this news post, I will be away for the next few days and I wanted to wish you pleasant holidays, or if you don't have any, I wish you all the strength to make the best of it. Also, I hope you have a few good ideas on how to make it through the next year.
