Charles Darwin returns from the Galapagos to confirm that his theologically reviled theory of 'natural selection' is, indeed, scientifically sound. Hell, anyone who has ever heard of people who park their cars on the tracks at railroad crossings or pull into flooded washes or vote for people who promise to steal more of our money now so they can give it back to us later could have told him that and saved him the trouble of the trip.
