October 8, 1918 -
While single-handedly capturing 132 enemy prisoners in the same action, Corporal Alvin C. York solidifies the reputation of the .45 ACP cartridge by killing six(!) consecutive attacking German soldiers with his Colt 1911 after offing another nineteen with his M1917 Enfield rifle - not with a Luger and an '03 Springfield like you see in the movie every Veterans' Day. The POSTAL Dude wanted me to set the record straight.
