Flying at 40,000 feet at 662 miles per hour in an orange bullet named 'Glamorous Glennis' (in honor of his wife) United States Air Force Captain Chuck Yeager becomes the first human being to fly faster than the speed of sound. There's no joke here, it's just good to remember that there was a time when things like this mattered to everyone in this country. I pray there will be again.
