Ex-Nazi V-2 rocket whiz Wernher Von Braun takes up residence at NASA to give America the edge over the evil Russian commies in the space race. Please don't bother picking yourselves up off the floor from laughing at the irony of this bizarre scientific situation because you'll only fall back down again when I tell you public schools in America back then were considered the best in the world - we just didn't do space real well.
