Situation: Another one for someone special...
I tried to be happy...didn't work too well...kinda sweet and morbid |
At the funeral pyre I cry
My beloved now gone in the blink of an eye.
The fire so bright it burns my eyes
The fire so bright it reaches the skies.
Here your corpse shall burn so bright
Letting off the brightest light.
I remember how you were to me
It was never really meant to be.
I loved you then and always would
Our love did not die though you could.
I wonder now if you will wait
For a girl like me that you did date.
Eternal slumber has you still
While I shall wait at your will.
Life will soon release
The child it shall cease
To hold onto so dear.
As I go without fear
Into the land of the dead
No need for dread.
Death shall cradle me in his hands
Finer than the softest hands.
Waiting to see you on the day
When I shall pass away.
Release me from the shackles of life
No more need for grief and strife.
An angel will greet me when I die
To carry me to the sky.
The angel so good
That understood.
This angel I see is a familiar one
Came to get me when my time was done.
An angel that always was so dear
Teaching me never to fear.
The angel I've known for quite awhile
Comforts me with his smile.
No more memories of life cloud my mind
I know this angel is one of a kind.
He holds me close so I can rest
As I bury my head into his chest.
An angel that watched his flock
As sturdy as a great big rock.
Dreaming of the one so dear
I hardly manage to hear.
My angel now calls my name
I know not to fell any shame.
Wings so secure wrap around me
Now I konw that I am free.
The one in the funeral pyre
That burnt with the brightest fire
Now holds me in wings so great
Not allowing me to hate.
The angel and my love are one in the same
I know this is no silly game.
I wil spend eternity with my love
Wrapped in wings like a dove.
The one I love is all I see
For the rest of eternity.
Lost inside my lover's gaze
More intricate than a maze.
I will love you for all eternity
If you'll just stay with me. |

In our lives which we live so deeply, we find that life can be so beautiful in the most wretched of circumstances. Your poetry is an example of beauty in the face of some rather hurtful and wretched times. It gets so hard, where everything gets you down, life in itself gets you down...but its that spark of hope and love that matters.
I just wanted to let you know...no matter what your mom or dad...or the courts...or PHQ, your sisters, friends, enemies...anyone thinks...I love you...and I care about you with every last bit of my eternal soul. I've never doubted you and I've always been true. I will continue to love you, be with you, and support you for all eternity as well, if you are willing to stay with me. I'll hope to see you soon.
