sadism is what we are doing here, watching victims die in traps, and creating traps for that very purpose and buying them, selling them and requesting them for our institute to kill victims for

I am a sadist, but I'm only here because I like some people here, and this used to be one of the few places where I was accepted, years ago.
That's why I came back, I love it here.
I get no sadistic pleasure out of this place, if I want to torment people I do it in real life. That's what bdsm is for... =) |

In the beggining I think I was brought here by revenge, not sadism. I had enjoyed Half-Quake, wanted more so got through HQA, but that sense of joy was empty. HQA stimulated (and still does) my mind, but the knowledge of being the victim is like an opression in your heart, as if you couldn't entirely share the humour of the situation. So I came here to punish impersonal victims, as my character had been punished by impersonal sadists. It is a way of sadism, yes, based on revenge.
And of course, humour in this place is awesome. The way this people think is so close to the way I think, even when we may have different oppinions, that I get scared. PHQ has reached that goal.

I am not a real sadist either. I played HQ(A) first, and loved it. First of all, because it was challenging. It took me days to come through it. And as I played, I became familiar with the feelings, atmosphere and philosophy behind it all. That was the beginning of a true love. Thank you muddasheep!
I just saw PHQ as a "next" step to find others, who have the same opinion as I have it. But I wasn't very social at the beginning though, but I hope that someone would miss me now, if I get caught in my own traps

I'm not a sadist either though I think bdsm is interesting 
I came here because... Dunno I played HQ/HQA and both just where great dunno I like the idea how it refelcts things and yhea it was fun... Man i was so confused about "patience"  Anyway after sometime I found out about PHQ and yeha I think I just thought "try it". It's insane how long i've been here normaly I drop web games after a few weeks.
And yeha it's just like hmmm it's like family being here :X Dunno there are so many people here I like and that accept me. It's just great
