Dear sadists. Here's the latest list of changes! - Sale of NPC contracts returns 20% now, instead of 50% of the initial price. - Now you can see when the next NPC contract will expire (column "Next Quit" in the management list). - Contracts Fame and Trap Crafting skill cannot be higher than your current level + 4 anymore. If you already have a higher crafting skill or contracts fame you will have to wait for your level to increase accordingly. - The bomb symbol will now appear if someone bombed your field in BVII. - Experience Points contract sellers get for finished contracts have been slightely increased. - Experience Points trap crafters get for trap chains has been halfed. - Contracts now won't get canceled anymore after the seller has failed to deliver once. Contract sellers will NOT have to pay a compensation anymore. Only after 15 failed deliveries, the contract will get canceled, the seller will get a negative PlayerRating and will have to pay a compensation, naturally. - Also, the duration does not get lowered for failed contract deliveries. - Contract Sellers can now click on the names of their client contracts to view the transfer history. (There won't be a transfer history for contracts that already existed before this update.) - Contract Sellers cannot offer any contracts anymore if they have more than 35 active clients. - Last two budgets now really shows the last 2. - Contracts on the clients page are now ordered by contract names. - Daily random events are working properly now, thanks to Steltie (who pointed it out sometime ago but I forgot about it ) and Khimitsu (for pointing it out again with calculations and proof that it really didn't work). - Quitting Fee of contracts is now at least one fixcost value. Thanks again to Steltie for helping me test some of those updates. Thanks for reading. muddasheep |

It'll cause again the problem we solved earlier. The resources TC can order won't raise until a lot of levels, making it not only more difficult over time to craft traps for ourselves, but this will also prevent us from crafting traps of our level. The best part of the Lv15 is the Tennis Field : No As needed, few resources needed. But without increasing our resources income, in our next levels we'll have to stick with Tennis Fields because it'll be impossible to maintain 36 traps in our institute when a single trap cost 2/3 of our daily resource income, at best. So it'll cause the same problem we had earlier : no traps for sale, beside Dur. 1 ones.

Well, there is a way of providing traps for everyone while having enough for yourself, and for you to be in the same rank. Since your number one, it wouldn't do any harm to change your strategy.
(of course over a large amount of time, some one can get pretty close to you and thats when you can change back). Oh, and because of my strategy, I have plenty of money . (I'm not going in the details of it though because its obvious, to me atleast. And then there is the just incase everyone screws up, I could find myself in a higher rank )
Khimitsu January 18th 2006, 15:54:41
I won't have enough traps before a very very long time. I'll be impossible for me to have an institute filled with the up-to-date traps. Gathering enough resources to make 36 up-to-date traps would take a long time, but I also have to maintain 36 traps in the institute. And since it'll be hard enough to craft traps for myself, it'll be impossible to craft traps for the others.
By the way, I'm maybe first, but I won't work less because of it. I worked to get to the first place, I worked to stay at it, and now I'm working to create the biggest gap possible between the 2nd and me. Whenever I can craft an extra trap to sell, I do it, but I'm not going to decrease my current efficiency to craft traps for the others "because I'm ranked 1st". It's maybe egoïst, but it's a game of sadism and pain, not a love-love game (And if your strategy is to craft Spinning Rooms of Choice, which don't use any -A-s, it's not as good as you could think .)

lol, I craft them all. But woot, I made rank 4 . And I don't use too many traps at all. max I ever had at one time was maybe 15. And I know this is horribly late, but oops.
And yea, it is a game of sadism. I just guess I'm the nice sadism.
