Dear sadists, PHQ is one year old. On March 1st 2003 it opened its gates and the first users registered. Before the release of PHQ it went through 2 months of betatesting and we had a section called "Surprise Sadism". You clicked on a box and either you got nothing, +500 SD or -500 SD. The idea was good, but not perfect. Jazzymike abused it and clicked it about 80,000 times using a self made page with hundreds of iframes. We got some traffic issues, jazzymike got a lot of money and I grinned and removed "Surprise Sadism" from the game. Now the sadism box is back in the new lottery. The old lottery was useless, senseless and .. everything that ends with "less" and has a negative meaning. Anyway, now you buy a lottery ticket and you have 20% chance to win the pot. Simple and sadistic fun. Well, whatever. I have another historic item for you: http://farm.muddasheep.com/phq(...) This was in fact the first attempt of the design of PHQ, including a mistake ("as much victims"). Cute, isn't it? It uses the second logo I've designed for PHQ. It is now used in the login and logout section. PHQ Link This was the first logo. Yes. Laugh at me. Anyway, I hope PHQ will last for another year and I hope that the community will grow and the game will be perfect one time. Well, the last one is wishful thinking, heh.
