Description:
Something I wrote during one of my school lessons. I just felt happy for no reason at all, so I wrote this down. |
 I feel the creative impulse, flowing as liquid ecstasy from the chest to the limbs. My hand moves by itself towards the pen and picks it up, moving then towards the blank page. I want to praise the sun, the wind, the spring, the stars, and everything that is beautiful or pleasant. A smile arises on my face without being called nor invited, and all my senses are fascinated in the calmness of my spirit. I float in a sea of happyness, completely empty of concern. Everyone is a wonderful person, and it doesn't really matter who is the most wonderful of them all. There's no avidity, no envy. Harmony is natural and every knowledge is charital. Love is as reachable as a branch charged with apples leaning down from its tree.
I know that truth will strike again my mind. I don't know whether to feel sad because of the loss or satisfied because this brief space of pleasure has happened. I'd rather not think about the fact that will be undeniable. I'll enjoy what's left of this moment of glory. Night will come as my smile has; without being called nor invited. The cloud of reality will cover my mind once again and my insides will suffer the rain of pessimism. Colours will fade into the grey they had been, yet not right now.
Nor I nor anyone will be able to deny these moments of peace. I'll enjoy the sun, the wind, the green grass and the softness of it all for some minutes more. With a bit of luck this will repeat some day. Until then... |
