Dear audience,

as some of you might have noticed, I've been rather absent recently. Truth is, I wasted my time doing other projects, taking a break from PHQ development.

The good news is that I start feeling the urge to come back to PHQ - and that desire is growing every day. There is still a lot to do around here, and as Khimitsu says: PHQ is only at its beginning.

Now, some of you have already sent suggestions and criticism, but I'd like to tell everyone of you guys that now is a good time to write your suggestions/criticism into the forums, or in this news posts' comments or by simply sending me a message. Tell us everything, even every tiny little detail helps. Even if it's just one thing that manages to spoil gameplay for you - report it! Because I'm about to come back to PHQ soon and I'd like to see what y'all have on your minds.

Thanks for reading. See you soon. (:

*excellent*. First and most important thing for me: The requirements for purchasing higher level contracts are far to high. I kill 10k victims per day, but only earn about 4,5K per day throughout my contracts. The funniest thing: I use the full amount of contracts I can purchase but don't have filled up my institute with traps. And purchasing victims from the black market is going to make a poor man sooner or later.

I think we all need "Arena" - this is most important thing!

How 'bout a more narrow damage range for creatures? Currently, when I fight 3 undead HQ fans, their damage ranges from 69 to 115. Argh!

@Spam : It's because of your/their agility and/or your/their defense. Look at the number of rounds you take to kill them - more rounds means obliviously more damage.
If you miss them because of their agility, they hit you one more time than you, resulting in one more round and in more damage.
If they miss you because of your agility, you hit them one more time, and so they deal less damage to you within the same amount of rounds.
Also, the more defense they have, the less damage you'll deal to them ; the more defense you have, the less damage they'll deal to you.

Those things are what affect the damages. Normally, the damages a creature/CV can deal is calculated very simply : 1 DMG = 1 STR ; and thus is a constant, altered by the things above.

Hmm...I suppose that begs the question of what the best ratio of strength/defense/agility is...whaddaya think?
